Israeli Judoka denies theft allegations

Israeli Judoka Soso palelashvili, who is suspected of stealing toothpaste from a supermarket in Dusseldorf, Germany and was disqualified from the Judo Grand Prix commented on the affair after landing in Israel on Sunday.
"It was a very important match for me," he said. "I think I should have participated, I am not guilty of any theft. I bought other stuff worth 80 euros for which I paid. I wish to continue to represent the Israel." (Oren Aharoni)
