Israel Railways workers' union to ask chairwoman to resign

Israel Railways' national employee council is to gather on Tuesday to demand the immediate resignation of the union's chairwoman, Gila Edri.

A source said that the reason behind the extreme measure is the "heavy blow" that was caused to the workers' image and welfare under her leadership. If Edri refuses to fulfill the demand, the workers are to make efforts to oust her. (Shahar Haselkorn)
