Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a Likud faction meeting that "The Israel Railways workers' union shouldn't manage the train service. Its management should."
It was Netanyahu's first reference to the Israel Railways employees' demand to go on strike due to the management's attempts to contract out train car maintenance. Earlier, the Labor Court decided to allow a strike only if the company and employees are unable to settle the issue over the next two weeks. (Moran Azulay)
