Obama invites Netanyahu for White House meeting

US President Barack Obama has invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netnayhu to visit the White House on March 5. The invitation was passed along to Netanyahu by US national security advisor Tom Donilon, when the two met in Jerusalem.

The prime minister is expected to travel to the US early next month to speak at the annual AIPAC conference. President Shimon Peres is also to take part in the event. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
