Syrian opposition says in touch with senior Assad regime officials

Syrian National Council member Muhammad Sarmini told the London-based told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that the opposition group was in touch with a number of senior ministers who remained in President Bashar Assad's government in order to "destabilize it from within."
"We reached an agreement with the (ministers) that they would be protected after the regime falls," he said. (Roi Kais)
