Beinisch: Tal Law unconstitutional

Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch who supported accepting petitions against the Tal Law said that the law which exempts yeshiva students of army service "does not meet the proportionality standard and is therefore unconstitutional."
She added, "Yes, the data indicate an overall change but we remain unconvinced that this trend is enough after 10 years since the law's legislation." (Aviad Glickman)
