Knesset rejects bill on obligatory military, national service

The Knesset has rejected the civic service bill which was presented by MK Yoel Hasson (Kadima). 55 MKs voted against the bill while 27 voted in favor.
According to the bill all Israeli citizens would be obliged to carry out military or civic service. (Moran Azulay)
