White House offers condolences over Syria journalists

The White House offered its condolences over the death of two journalists killed Wednesday in Syria, saying its "thoughts and prayers" were with their relatives.
"These tragic deaths... are a reminder of the incredible risks" that reporters take in war zones, said White House spokesman Jay Carney, adding "our thoughts and prayers" are with the victims' families. (AFP)
