Hamas denies involvement in Egypt uprising

Gaza's Hamas premier Ismail Haniya on Thursday denied the Palestinian Islamist movement was involved in Egypt's uprising last year, as claimed by Cairo's former interior minister Habib al-Adly.
Speaking in court on Wednesday, the final day of ousted leader Hosni Mubarak's trial, Adly blamed Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah and Hamas for sending infiltrators to Egypt, and said the "plot" was continuing to this day. (AFP)
