Iran: Some trying to undermine ties with neighbors

Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that some countries are not willing to see the Islamic Republic of Iran's friendly relations with its neighbors and are always trying to undermine such relations through baseless allegation, IRNA reported on Thursday.

He made the remarks in reaction to some allegations pertaining to detention of some Iranian nationals in the Republic of Azerbaijan. (Dudi Cohen)
