Report: Jordan to deploy Patriot batteries on Syria border
Jordan plans to station four Patriot air defense batteries near its border with Syria to protect itself in the event of a Syrian aerial attack, a European defense expert told French daily Le Figaro.
According to the report, Jordan will purchase the batteries from Germany. The expert said the stationing of Patriot batteries near the Jordan-Syria border would be in Israel's interest. (Ynet)
