Two protesters shot dead in Kabul protests

Two protesters were shot dead in separate rallies in Kabul on Friday over the burnings of the Koran at a NATO base, police told Reuters at the scene.

Armed protesters killed one man in the east of the city, police said, while it was unclear who fired the shots that killed the second man. (Reuters)
