MK Ahmad Tibi has met with Robert Serry, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace, in Doha, Qatar on Sunday. During the meeting, Tibi spoke in favor of forming a UN Security Council committee that would look into Israeli activity in east Jerusalem.
Tibi has also stressed that it is imperative for the UN to pay more attention to Arab citizens of Israel, and their demand to be recognized as a minority. He claimed that the Knesset has recently seen a flurry of "racist laws." (Moran Azulay)
