Mofaz: IDF draft law will be achieved consensually or not at all
The Head of the Knesset Foreign affair and Defense Committee MK Shaul Mofaz said that an IDF draft law will be achieved consensually or not at all.
"We have come to the moment of truth – what was will be no longer but we must reach an agreed upon formula together. A Knesset majority can pass any decision but we must ask ourselves if that is how we wish to proceed. A very thin line separates between a majority decision and subjugation of the minority," Mofaz said in a discussion on the Tal Law.
