Aharonovitch: Attacks on soldiers intolerable, regardless of motive
Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch addressed the recent attack on two soldiers in Haifa, saying that "The reasons behind the attacks remain unclear… but we won't tolerate such behavior, regardless of whether the motive was criminal or nationalistic."
Speaking at a graduation ceremony held for volunteer firefighters, Aharonovitch added that he intends to make sure that the attackers are apprehended. "So far six suspects have been arrested, and others will be caught as well. I hope that charges will be pressed in the coming days," he said. (Omri Efraim)
