Kardan NV's subsidiary Milgam Cellular Parking is holding talks to form an electrical vehicle charging station company, Calcalist learned. Milgan operates the Pango cellular parking system. The new joint venture, called Pango Charging, will be in partnership with Israeli Gnrgy, owned by businessman Ran Eloya. Pango offers parking fee collection services enabling users to pay for parking directly from their cell phones. Among its clients are the Israel Union of Local Authorities and the Local Government Economic Service. Sources familiar with the deal said the company will begin deploying charging stations in the next several months. Company representatives held talks with several large automobile importers which are expected to offer Pango Charging services to customers who purchase electric cars. Gnrgy provides services to several car importers and operates charging stations in the facilities of Mitsubishi importer Colmobil and Peugeot and Citroen importer David Lubinski.
