Officials expect Minister Peled to be named home front defense minister

Defense establishment officials estimate that Minister Yossi Peled will replace Matan Vilnai as home front defense minister. Vilnai was recently appointed Israel's ambassador to china.

The sources said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has discussed the position with Peled. The Prime Minister's Office and Peled's bureau refused to comment. (Attila Somfalvi)
