Report: Moderate quake jolts east Iran, 6 hurt
Iran's state TV says a moderate earthquake has injured six people and caused damages in a small town in the country's east.
Tuesday's report says the magnitude 5.4 quake hit the sparsely populated area at 10 pm on Monday. It damaged buildings, roads, water canals as well as the nearby dam in the town of Ravar, some 460 miles (750 kilometers) southeast of the capital Tehran. (AP)
