Ex-Minister Shlomo Benizri released from prison
Former Labor and Welfare Minister Shlomo Benizri war released from Maasiyahu Prison on Thursday.
Last month, the Prison Service's Parole Board decided to reduce one third of Benizri's sentence for good behavior. He was convicted of accepting bribes and was sentenced to four years in prison. The former minister was released along with some 600 other inmates whose sentences were commuted. (Gilad Morag)
