British arms-to-Iran suspect to request bond in US

A retired British businessman accused of trying to sell missile batteries to Iran plans to ask a US judge to release him on bond. Attorney Dennis Hester says he'll "push hard" for Christopher Tappin's release at a detention hearing Friday.

Tappin surrendered to US marshals and was escorted to Texas last week after fighting extradition from the United Kingdom for two years. (AP)
