Court extends remand of soldier suspected of robbing couple

The Krayot Magistrate's Court on Friday extended by five days the remand of a 20-year-old soldier from Haifa who was arrested on Thursday in suspicion of robbing a couple in their vehicle with his military weapon.

According to an initial investigation, the soldier and his friend planned to hijack the vehicle and sell it in order to pay back a debt of one of them. (Ahiya Raved)
