Police arrested a Palestinian woman, 32, from the village of Habla who was caught carrying a large knife near the Emmanuel settlement's security fence. The woman said she was planning to carry out a stabbing attack.

She was spotted by an observation post in the area. She dropped her knife to the ground when an Emmanuel security patrol arrived at the scene. The woman told police officers that she was planning to carry out a terrorist attack. A subsequent examination revealed that the woman suffers from personal problems and may have intentionally sought to get arrested.
