Revised 'Lapid bill' approved for first reading
The Knesset House Committee approved the amended "Lapid bill 2" for first reading on Tuesday.
According to the revised bill, a person who announces an intention to run for a Knesset seat will not be required to register with a political party, but will be subject to the same bank account protocol, such as reporting donations and income, as the parties. (Moran Azulay)
