The UN humanitarian chief got the first look inside the shattered district of Baba Amr on Wednesday but found most people already had fled the rebellious neighborhood in Homs following a devastating military siege.
UN humanitarian chief Valerie Amos, who is currently visiting Syria, described Wednesday the Baba Amr district of the battered city of Homs as devastated by the recent shelling and almost devoid of people. (News Agencies)
