Syria: Blasts target security forces in Azaz

Two bombs exploded near buildings housing security forces in the city of Hazaz. Opposition activists said that the blasts came in retaliation to heavy shelling perpetrated by the Syrian regime's army.

Meanwhile, Syrian security forces wounded three mourners on Thursday when they fired live ammunition at a funeral for a protester in a Damascus neighbourhood, opposition activists said. The funeral, which turned into a demonstration against President Bashar al-Assad, was taking place in the district of Mezze. (News Agencies)
