Tanks fired on opposition districts in the central Syrian city of Homs on Friday, killing four and wounding scores more, activists said, in a resumption of heavy shelling from Syrian forces after a few days of relative calm.
"Thirty tanks entered my neighbourhood at seven this morning and they are using their cannons to fire on houses," said Karam Abu Rabea, a resident of the Karm al-Zeitoun district in Homs. (Reuters)
