Death toll since Friday: 16 terrorists, 14-year-old Palestinian
The Defense Ministry has announced that 16 Palestinians have been killed and 20 others injured since the current escalation in the south last Friday. A 14-year-old Palestinian from the Gaza Strip, who was not involved in the rocket attacks, has also been killed.
Defense Minsiter Ehud Barak said that three Iron Dome systems are spread out across southern Israel and have successfully intercepted some 30 rockets. (Attila Somfalvi)
