Israel demands that UNSC issue condemnation of rocket fire

Haim Waxman, Israel's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations has demanded that the UN Security Council condemn the latest rocket assault from Gaza on southern Israel.

"Over the past two days over 150 rockets were fired and over a million citizens are living under their constant threat." The representative also mentioned previous Israeli complaints which were ignored by the UN and accused Hamas of being responsible for the rocket fire. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
