Peres praises residents of southern Israel
President Shimon Peres on Tuesday praised the steadfastness and strength of the residents of southern Israel. Speaking to Beersheba Mayor Ruvik Danilovich he added that he hopes that the residents will return to their routine lives soon.
Danilovich told the president that “the residents of the south will give the government and military complete support in order for them to be able to complete their mission. The current round (of escalation) cannot be allowed to end without a clear resolution so that we won’t find ourselves under attack again in a few months.” (Ilana Curiel)
