Syria agrees to Annan, Arab League proposal to end violence

Syria's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that his government gave a positive response to the proposals made by Kofi Annan and the Arab League to end the violence in the country.
"The tone of our reply was positive," said the spokesperson, adding that the Syrian authorities made suggestions on the implementation of the proposal. (AFP)
