France condemns deal reached over Migron outpost

France condemned the agreement that was reached between the Israeli government and the residents of the West Bank outpost of Migron, which aims to allow the outpost's structures to remain untouched pending a ruling on the land's ownership. "This sets an unacceptable precedent," the French Foreign Ministry asserted.
"As per the road map agreement, Israel committed to dismantle the outposts," the ministry said in a statement. "This decision sends a negative message that negates the willingness Israel expressed to reach a two-state solution. It will further complicate the peace process." (Ynet)
