Barak sells TA apartment for NIS 26.5 mln

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has sold his apartment in the exclusive Akirov Towers in Tel Aviv for NIS 26.5 million ($7 million). He and his wife Nili Priel had decided to sell the property four years ago.
Barak's profits from the apartment are an estimated NIS 14.5 million ($3.85 million). The apartment is listedas being mortgaged for the sum of NIS 12 million, a sum almost identical to the one Barak paid for the apartment in 2003. (Shai Pauzner, Calcalist)
