Peres calls Iran to modify 'corrupted regime'

President Shimon Peres taped a special message for Iran's citizens on Kol Yisrael in Persian (Israel's radio station "Voice of Israel"), congratulating them prior to Tuesday's Nowruz, the Persian New Year.

He called upon the Iranian people to modify their "corrupted regime" and return to their glorious Persian heritage. The Iranian people, Peres added, have a glorified heritage filled with culture and values, not with bombs and rockets. (Yair Altman)
