Barak on Iran strike: Israel must take US elections into account

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said during a Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting that Israel must "show sensitivity towards the election system in the US."

He said that the deep ties that Israel has with the US have a clear and immediate effect on the Jewish state's security and international standing, hinting that it would be wrong to strike Iran without consent from Washington.  (Moran Azulay)
