Hamas official in Geneva: Israel must release parliament members

Hamas parliament member Ismail al-Ashqar addressed on Monday the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, urging its members to demand that Israel grant rights to Palestinian parliament members detained in Israel.
Al-Ashqar also called for the release of the prisoners, claiming there are 27 Palestinian parliament members held in Israel, out of which 24 belong to Hamas. (Elior Levy)
