Russia Offers To Back Annan's Syria Plan At UN

Russia's foreign minister says Moscow will support a United Nations resolution endorsing Kofi Annan's plan for settling the Syrian crisis.
Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday that Russia is ready to back Annan's plan with a UN Security Council resolution. Annan is the the international envoy charged with trying to help end the violence in the country. (AP)
