Israel inks deal for 6th German sub
Israel and Germany have signed a contract for the purchase of a sixth submarine designated for the Israeli Navy, Defense Minister Ehud Barak's office announced.
"The sixth sub will add force to Israel and the IDF in the face of growing challenges. The deal is an expression of the close ties with Germany and the German government's commitment to Israel's security," Barak said during the signing ceremony in Berlin. (Moran Azulay)
