French police turn out lights around Toulouse shooter's apartment

French media reported that streetlights have gone out in the Toulouse neighborhood where Mohamed Merah, a man who confessed to shooting seven people to death since March 11, has barricaded himself.
The police have been in a standoff with Merah for the past 18 hours, and are reportedly readying to storm the building. (News agencies)
