Report: Merah killed in police raid

A police source said that Mohammed Merah was killed during a police raid on his house in Toulouse on Thursday.
Assault rifle and lighter calibre gunfire rang out for about four minutes. Explosions were also heard, as special forces sought to capture Mohamed Meraha. An official said that gas was also used to try and paralyse him. Three police officers were seriously wounded during the raid. (Reuters, AFP)
