Man indicted for blackmailing Sudanese refugees

Rahat resident Yusef Alkrinoi has been indicted for belonging to an organization inolved in the kidnapping of Sudanese and Eritrean citizens in Sinai for ransom from their relatives in Israel.
According to the charges, the man was a key participant in the organization, maintaining contact with the kidnappers and collecting tens of thousands of shekels in ransom from refugees in Israel. The organization has also tortured its hostages and in one case a girl was raped. (Ilana Curiel)
