Report: Assad to halt military assaults on rebels soon

Syria President Bashar Assad is expected to deliver a speech in the near future in which he will announce a halt to the military operations against rebel strongholds throughout the country, a website affiliated with the regime in Damascus reported.
According to the report, Assad will also declare a general pardon for all those who were involved in anti-regime activities but not in the killing or kidnapping of Syrians. (Roi Kais)
