The US Embassy in Nigeria's capital says there were gunshots fired near its offices, though no one was injured.
A statement from the embassy Monday said it "believed there were shots fired" and that police arrested two people afterward. Abuja police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said he had no information about any shooting in the area, nor any knowledge of any arrests. (AP)
