Histadrut, Israel Railways present new agreement

Israel's Labor Federation, Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and Israel Railways unveiled the new reform agreement the parties had signed on Monday night.
As part of the agreement, all Israel Railways workers will receive a NIS 40,000 bonus, a 25% salary increase, a guarantee they won't be dismissed until 2030 and other benefits. Also, 140 cashiers who had been employed as contract workers will be made into regular employees. (Shahar Haselkorn)
