Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said upon receiving the Bank of Israel's annual report that "Israel's economy has grown by 4.7% last year, which is highly impressive, especially in light of the worldwide economic crisis."
He added that he was particularly glad to hear "that the scope of inequality has stabilized in recent years and even registered a slight reduction, and that poverty continued to drop." (Attila Somfalvi)
