Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood names presidential candidate
The Muslim Brotherhood has apparently elected Khairat al-Shater as the presidential candidate for the Islamist group's Freedom and Justice Party," Egyptian media reported Saturday.
Shater was elected by a majority vote among the party's members. A formal announcement has yet to be made. (Roi Kais)
