Israeli official: Muslim Brotherhood presidential nomination 'worrisome'

An Israeli official told the New York Times that the Muslim Brotherhood nomination of Khairat el-Shater as a presidential candidate in Egypt's elections was worrisome.

“Obviously this is not good news,” he said. “The Muslim Brotherhood is no friend of Israel’s. They do not wish us well.” The official added: “The big question will be how pragmatic they will be once in power. It could go in either direction.” (Ynet)
