US envoy David Hale to arrive in Mideast on Tuesday

United States Special Envoy for Middle East Peace David Hale will arrive in the region on Tuesday, and is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said that Hale's visit is part of a US effort to renew the Israeli-Palestinian talks. (Elior Levy)
