PM to Barak: Postpone 'Machpelah house' eviction
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked Defense Minister Ehud Barak to delay the eviction of the 'Machpelah house' settlers in Hebron in effort to allow the Civil Administration to examine the legality of the sale of the building.
The Civil Administration has placed an ultimatum before settlers who moved into the Machpelah house last week, and ordered them to leave the premises by 3 pm on Tuesday. The eviction order sites that their stay violates public order. (Attila Somfalvi)
