Barak: Machpelah house eviction order not cancelled

The office of Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced that the interpretation given to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request to postpone the eviction of the Machpelah house was incorrect. According to Barak's office the order was not cancelled and the settlers have until 3 pm to prove the legitimacy of their purchase.
"If they fail to prove it, the law will be enforced," officials noted. Yet it was also stated that the eviction hour – 3 pm should not be seen as the 'go' hour for security forces. (Attila Somfalvi)
