Palestinians: Netanyahu, Fayyad to meet next week
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' political advisor Nimer Hammad said that a delegation led by Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad would meet next week with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and would present him with a missive regarding the peace process, the final product of months of Palestinian deliberations.
Hammad noted that the missive would include an explanation on the current situation of the peace process and would stress that no negotiations would go ahead while settlement construction continues and while Israel refuses to recognize the 1967 borders based two-state solution. (Elior Levy)
